Key Ingredients
PENTAVITIN®
Plant-derived hydration hero. PENTAVITIN® (otherwise known as Saccharide Isomerate) is a naturally derived plant extract that is rich in hydrating properties, giving improved skin protection against dehydration.
It creates a moisture barrier instantly on the skin after application and is deeply binding within the layers of skin, providing hydration for up to 72 hours. As the skin is so deeply hydrated after application, the appearance of fine lines is reduced. And, unlike Hyaluronic Acid, it can’t be washed away.
It also keeps skin strong by improving and maintaining the skin’s barrier, protecting it against the damaging effects of environmental factors like pollution, cold weather, and heat. On top of that, it relieves itchy, flaky, sensitive skin, helping it to feel soft and smooth all the time.
Avocado Oil
Nourishes and moisturizes the skin. Rich in Vitamin E, potassium, lecithin and many other nutrients which nourishes and moisturises the skin. It also relieves inflammation from psoriasis and eczema while preventing acne. Research has also shown that the linoleic acid, oleic acid and other monosaturated fatty acids in avocado oil can speed up wound healing.
Avocado oil calms itchy skin, heals chapped skin while replenishing dry skin. It also shield skin from ultraviolet radiation and protects against damage. Avocado oil also has anti-inflammatory effects which can help to reduce the redness and inflammation associated with acne.
Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil (Macadamia Oil)
Hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic oil. Macadamia oil is extracted from the meat of the macadamia nut. Macadamia oil is similar to your skin’s natural sebum and hydrates without clogging pores.
This anti-aging oil absorbs, deeply soothes, moisturizes, and helps to heal scars, sunburn, and dry patches for that fresh, firm look for our skin.
Full of antioxidants and other wellness benefits, macadamia oil fights free radicals that cause oxidative damage.
Oxidative damage breaks down the protective skin barrier and we experience premature aging and disease.
Macadamia oil is also a good source of palmitoleic acid (omega 7), another powerful antioxidant that supports healthy cell membranes, hydrates the skin, and speeds healing.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Extract
Soothes skin and reduces inflammation. Ancient Egyptians called aloe vera the ‘plant of immortality’ as it contains numerous vitamins such as A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, C and E, as well as choline and folic acid.
Aloe vera’s chemical structure allows it to deeply penetrate into the skin (dermis), ensuring full absorption of vitamins and essential acids. It also stimulates the fibroblasts to generate more collagen.
Natural anti-inflammatory and healing agent on cuts and burns; it regenerates the skin, soothes and heals wounds, acne, skin blemishes and so on.
The plant’s leaves contain antioxidants, such as beta carotene (vitamin A), vitamin C, and vitamin E. They also contain vitamin B12 and folic acid. Saponins in the leaves also have cleansing and antiseptic properties. As a skin-conditioning agent, its amino acids also help soften hard skin and its zinc has astringent properties that tighten pores.
Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E)
Prevents UV damage and inflammation. A powerful antioxidant that provides photoprotection. Prevents damage of skin cells caused by free-radicals from UV exposure, inflammation to lips and contains wound-healing properties. Vitamin E may also have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.
Quaternary Ammonium Compounds (Alkyl Dimethyl Benzyl Ammonium Chloride)
These are ammonium salts that have at least one positively charged nitrogen atom, typically linked to four alkyl or benzyl groups.
These compounds kill bacteria and viruses by disrupting the structures of proteins and lipid membranes making them highly effective sanitizers and disinfectants.
It is a strong antimicrobial agent and kills microorganisms while inhibiting their future growth.
